As stated, the color change was the only real shocker, The way the blue ink came out, at least in the copy I bought, the blue was a little hard to look at. But looking at the graphic here on the blog - the blue is much nicer and less intense than it came out from the printers.Renita Jenkinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05673719382322510999noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6534605.post-56071435630152501202007-08-12T18:38:00.000-03:002007-08-12T18:38:00.000-03:00Thank you all for the kind words. I'm glad everybody is enjoying my first issue.

Sam, Matt has a layout in his mind (6 panels grid) and works with that in mind and on the script, so I know what he wants. But I can change the layout any way I want to better tell the story.Fábio Moonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14339673571849037175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6534605.post-46371297483940957902007-08-12T15:43:00.000-03:002007-08-12T15:43:00.000-03:00I have to say, I was really curious to see how thi...I have to say, I was really curious to see how this would turn out, and I'm dig'n it.

I am wondering though, who is responsible for Panel layouts? I get the idea that Fraction likes to set up most of the book himself.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16937488968873617355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6534605.post-9654762371462323782007-08-11T23:00:00.000-03:002007-08-11T23:00:00.000-03:00You are working for the book, and to be honest, I'...You are working for the book, and to be honest, I'm not missing Ba at alljorge f. muñozhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03777221949272825674noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6534605.post-20704927905006415032007-08-10T20:54:00.000-03:002007-08-10T20:54:00.000-03:00Simply put, Fabio killed it with this issue. At times, especially that last page, it smacked of a more kinetic Paul Pope. It was a beautifully made book and I can't wait for the next one.

I knew about the color change, but it was still a little weird to see. However, I really grew to love the blue tones on the beach pages, as it set the mood perfectly.Raphael J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12563984079543744113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6534605.post-27039984275867331012007-08-10T02:30:00.000-03:002007-08-10T02:30:00.000-03:00Great. Beyond that, it seemed to me that Fabio did a lot to blend his style into what his brother had been doing on the book. There are elements of the book that I preferred Gabriel's treatment of. Just as Fabio brings new things that I'm looking forward to seeing more of. The last page of issue 8 spoke the loudest to me: "This is not the same 'Casanova'!" Both artists draw such sexy women, though, who can complain?JettBOYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07157250527650561957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6534605.post-37830657466113314552007-08-09T03:40:00.000-03:002007-08-09T03:40:00.000-03:00I don't think it's lost anything.
